On Sunday, Bishop Walkowiak of the Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids and Bishop Satterlee joined together for an ecumenical observance of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation. With participants from the Catholic Diocese and the North/West Lower Michigan Synod, the service highlighted 50 years of continuous ecumenical dialogue between Catholics and Lutherans and the gifts of this collaboration.
