The forum will feature a panel discussion with Andrew Lorenzen-Strait, Director of Children and Family Services, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services, Melanie Jones, Staff Attorney, Michigan Immigrant Rights Center, and Amy Maldanado, Immigration Attorney, and Farah Khalil, Local Refugee Advocate. Portico Pre-Retirement Seminar

Portico will be hosting a Pre-Retirement Seminar in Dundee, MI on Thursday, October 17. There will be a morning session from 9:00am-12:30pm, which will cover the basics of creating a budget, determining how much to save for retirement, and ways to invest your savings. The afternoon session from 1:15pm to 6:00pm will focus on things to consider as you prepare for retirement, such as creating an income plan, paying taxes in retirement, and navigating Social Security and Medicare. Lunch will be provided.
